Modal is a high-quality fabric manufactured by spinning beech tree cellulose, and is also called artificial silk for its special characteristics. It is breathable, soft, smooth and lightweight, it absorbs moisture and is warmer than cotton. Also made with combed cotton, which is made extra soft by combing out the short threads.
