Features
Thermal retention indicates a product's ability to maintain body heat in different weather conditions. The higher the level, the better the thermal insulation and the greater the comfort in low temperatures.
1 – Uninsulated product (e.g. a rain jacket)
2 – Lightweight synthetic insulation or sherpa fleece
3 – Lightweight down insulation or medium-weight synthetic insulation
4 – Down or synthetic insulation combined with a membrane
5 – Heavy down insulation
Important: The heat rating is an indicative assessment of the thermal comfort provided by AUDIMAS products in cold weather. The rating is based on the garment's construction, the type and amount of insulation, the materials used, and its protection against wind and wet conditions. Actual thermal comfort may vary depending on weather conditions, activity level, and the layering system worn.
