Natural merino wool (17–21 microns) is finer, softer, and less irritating than regular wool (25–40 microns). It has good thermal insulation, the ability to absorb moisture without creating a feeling of wetness, hydrophobicity that helps to stay dry even in a damp environment, and skin-friendly softness.
